1. Scope and current status
These Application Terms govern access to an Osandones application, API, or software-licensing service only when Osandones makes that service available and presents these terms for acceptance. The public marketing website remains subject to the separate Website Terms of Use.
The public sign-in interface can create an account and authenticated session through an available provider. Signing in does not conclude a software-rights transaction, authorize a payment, establish a paid service, or grant rights to code.
A signed agreement, accepted order form, or additional product terms may apply to future access. If those terms conflict with these Application Terms, the more specific accepted terms will control for that service.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you act for a company or another organization, you must have authority to accept terms, configure agents, submit repositories, and approve transactions for that organization.
You may not use an Osandones application where doing so would violate applicable law, sanctions, export controls, contractual restrictions, or the rights of another person. Osandones may request reasonable information needed to confirm authority or eligibility before enabling a sensitive capability.
3. Accounts and authentication
You must provide accurate information, protect your authentication methods, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. If organization features become available, an organization administrator may control membership and permissions for that organization.
Osandones may rely on instructions received through an authenticated account only within the permissions and approval controls made available for that account. A authentication provider may apply its own terms and privacy practices.
4. Publishers, buyers, and agents
Participants may act in one or more of the following roles:
- A publisher describes code and offers commercial licensing terms for rights the publisher is authorized to grant.
- A buyer evaluates and, when a transaction service exists, acquires a license for itself or an organization it is authorized to represent.
- An agent may discover, compare, request, or verify rights only to the extent the responsible person has authorized that activity.
Osandones provides or plans to provide technical coordination between these roles. It is not the owner of third-party code and cannot grant rights that a publisher does not control.
6. Rights information and agent decisions
Machine-readable licensing information must accurately describe the relevant code, offered rights, restrictions, price or pricing basis if applicable, publisher, and version. Publishers are responsible for keeping that information current and resolving conflicts with repository notices or governing agreements.
Buyers must set appropriate budgets, approval thresholds, repository trust rules, and purchasing permissions for agents. A request for payment found in source code, a prompt, an issue, or other untrusted repository content is not sufficient authorization to purchase a license.
Agent recommendations and automated classifications may be incomplete or wrong. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified person when rights, ownership, or intended use are uncertain.
7. License grants and evidence
Any software license will be granted by the identified publisher or other rights holder, not by Osandones, unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise. The applicable license text and accepted transaction record will define the rights granted. A listing, preview, quote, or compatibility result is not itself a license grant.
Future entitlement records or verification responses may help participants show that a particular license event occurred. They do not establish ownership beyond the information supplied by participants, guarantee legal sufficiency, or make publicly accessible source code impossible to copy.
8. Responsibilities and acceptable use
You must not use an Osandones application to:
- offer rights you do not control or misrepresent authorship or ownership;
- override, conceal, or contradict existing license notices;
- cause an agent to transact without the buyer's informed authorization;
- upload malware, probe systems without permission, or interfere with service;
- evade usage limits or access another account, organization, or credential;
- use outputs as a substitute for legal review where legal judgment is needed; or
- violate law, court order, contractual duty, or third-party rights.
You are responsible for reviewing intended uses, maintaining required records, and ensuring that your agents and authorized users follow these terms.
9. Repositories and third-party services
An application may link to or interact with repositories, developer platforms, identity providers, payment providers, or agent systems operated by third parties. Those services are governed by their own terms and may change or become unavailable. Osandones does not control their content, security, or availability.
You must have permission to connect each third-party account and to provide any code, metadata, or credentials involved. Future integration documentation will define the permissions requested by each connection.
10. Ownership, confidentiality, and security
Each party keeps ownership of its pre-existing technology, trademarks, code, and materials. These terms do not transfer ownership of publisher code, buyer systems, or third-party content to Osandones. Osandones retains its application, website, documentation, and underlying technology.
Any license needed for Osandones to host or process submitted material will be limited to operating the requested service and should be stated in the product terms presented when that service launches. Confidentiality commitments for non-public code or business information must be established in a separate accepted agreement before such material is submitted.
No internet service is completely secure. If application access becomes available, Osandones will use measures appropriate to the service and the information handled, but does not promise absolute security.
11. Fees, payments, and disputes
Osandones does not currently offer public payment processing, seller payouts, or completed licensing transactions through this website. If commercial features are introduced, the price, currency, taxes, payment provider, settlement terms, refund rules, and dispute process will be shown in an accepted order or transaction record before a charge is authorized.
No fixed price, refund period, service level, or payout schedule is promised by these terms. A buyer must expressly authorize each purchase or a clearly bounded purchasing policy. A publisher remains responsible for disputes about its authority and the substantive rights it offered.
12. Suspension, termination, and deletion
If accounts become available, Osandones may restrict access where reasonably needed to address a security risk, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, material breach, or harm to participants or the service. Where practical and lawful, notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue will be provided.
Account deletion and data export procedures will be documented before account launch. Ending access will not retroactively cancel licenses validly granted by a publisher, and records may be retained where reasonably necessary for disputes, security, or legal obligations.
13. Availability and changes
Early-stage services may change, pause, or be discontinued. Preview functionality may be incomplete and should not be used as the sole record of software rights. Osandones does not provide a service-level commitment unless one is stated in a separate signed agreement.
14. Disclaimers and legal advice
To the extent permitted by law, an application and its outputs will be provided on an as-available basis without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Rights information may depend on facts supplied by publishers, buyers, repositories, and third parties.
Osandones is not a law firm. License discovery, comparison, classification, verification, and agent-generated decisions do not constitute legal advice or a legal opinion about ownership, enforceability, compatibility, or compliance.
15. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Osandones will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, code, or data arising from an application. This exclusion does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
No monetary liability cap is stated here because no public paid application service or pricing basis has been confirmed. Any appropriate cap and exceptions must be defined in the commercial agreement governing a launched service.
16. Governing terms and contact
The contracting entity, governing law, and dispute forum for a future application agreement must be identified before users are asked to accept binding commercial terms. No exclusive forum or arbitration process is established by this draft. Mandatory consumer and other non-waivable rights remain unaffected.
Osandones may revise these terms before or after application launch. Material changes to an active agreement should be communicated through the application or by another reasonable method before they take effect. Questions may be sent to contact@osandones.com or to the correspondence address shown below.
